Summary

An intriguing twist on social deduction games, Tea and Mayhem takes place in a manor infested with werewolves. As guests of the manor, players must find and eliminate the werewolves slowly killing them off. Any guest of the manor can accuse anyone of being a werewolf, but in order to kill one, a guest must back their accusations with their lives, in a duel to the death!

Gameplay

Tea and Mayhem started off as a variant on the game of werewolf. There are the usual roles in any traditional werewolf game, there’s the werewolves, who want to kill everyone, and the socialites, who want to kill the werewolves before they are all killed. Two special socialites, the Seer and the Doctor, can look at the roles of other players and save people from being killed by werewolves respectively. Like all social deduction games, players spend each round deciding on who will be executed.

However, the twist is in the arbitration of executing someone. Instead of voting someone off, you have to challenge them to a duel to the death with nerf guns. 

In order to duel someone, you must write out a formal note challenging someone to a duel, if they refuse the challenge, they get a stain on their honor, and cannot be challenged again for the round. If a player gets two stains, they are removed from the game. If a player accepts the challenge, they go into an old fashioned gun duel, where each player takes 3 paces, turns around, and shoot. Whoever is shot dies, and night falls. When night falls, werewolves secretly kill off one person in the game, and the special socialites get to use their powers on different players. 

The game ends when all werewolves are killed, or if the werewolves outnumber the socialites at the beginning of a round.
