tHE INCINERATION OF DOMINIC MARIJUANA (2021)

Part of Endgame Sequences, a collection of essays about death in games. The Incineration of Dominic Marijuana is a personal essay about my experiences “playing” Blaseball, a browser based game simulating randomly-generated seasons of Baseball in real time. The essay explores the rich fiction that the Blaseball community that has grown around the game, and the aftermath of what happens when one of Blaseball’s most beloved players meets an untimely end. Lost Language (2021)

Created for Global Game Jam 2021 around the theme “Lost and Found” Lost Language is a semi-cooperative card game that challenges players to use words limited to a certain category (Such as concepts, animals or textures) to convey different words and ideas. Over the course of play, players will use and share the words in their deck in unique and unusual ways to communicate with those around them. Steam Workshop (Tabletop Simulator required)

Everyone is doing a great job (2020)

Made for the Blaseball fan jam We Are All Love Blaseball, Everyone is Doing a GREAT JOB is a cooperative tabletop roleplaying game about being parts of the extradimensional commissioner. Using modified rules from the game Everyone is John, players take turns doing simple tasks like ripping tears in spacetime, tweeting at angry fans and participating in frivolous lawsuits to realize the commissioner’s ultimate goal— a great job. itch.io
